At Ad Fontes, our academic program has been developed with intention and purpose and our Ad Fontes graduate in mind. Through our school culture and curriculum, we are endeavoring to prepare students who:
To fulfill these lofty standards, Ad Fontes utilizes a classical liberal arts approach that, in addition to core knowledge, develops the tools for life long learning. This approach integrated with a thoughtful biblical worldview throughout the curriculum, develops students who pursue truth and purpose in their work and in life. To assure consistency across our program, we have established K-12 goals, curriculum and school culture goals for each vision statement for the AFA graduate.
Ad Fontes treasures the special relationship between teacher and student. AFA teachers combine a heart for Christ and the student, high expectations and nurturing spirit to the classroom. Teachers have a passion for their subjects shared within a culture of dialogue and debate, not simply lecture.
Ad Fontes’ curriculum has many standard components such as English, Math, History and Science and adds distinctive courses in Bible, Latin, classical composition, Literature/Great Books, Logic and Rhetoric, as the students move to the middle and high school years.
The Ad Fontes’ academic program develops well rounded, thoughtful and well spoken Christian men and women, equipped with the skills and vision to succeed at university and in life.
