Upper School Retreat at Camp Hemlock Overlook

Faces twisted with concentration, contradictory instructions shouted, students running pell-mell, laughter and singing…these are all memories from our two day retreat. Students faced a number of challenges on Monday, October 19th, each with its own lesson. Ask them what they learned about communication, encouragement, perseverance, and more. Around the campfire, Pastor Fultz shared with us how God has created each of us for a purpose, and we fit into His Church like pieces in a puzzle—each with its own unique shape and place, and each essential to making the whole. That’s how we want our students to view one another. The community of Ad Fontes is precious, and we want to see it continue to grow as a community of grace and love.
